34,820 ATTENDED FIRST DAY OF MOVEMENT ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL
A record crowd attended the first day of the Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit. Saturday’s official attendance figure was 34,820.
The crowd total for Saturday is the largest one-day figure the festival has had since becoming a ticketed event in 2005. Previously the standing record was about 31,000.
Day two of Movement begins at noon on Sunday, May 29. The headliner for vitaminwater’s main stage is 69 (Carl Craig) performing live. The headliner for Beatportstage is Loco Dice. The headliner for the Made in Detroit stage is Delano Smith. The headliner for the Red Bull Music Academy stage is Aux 88 performing live. The headliner for Movement Torino stage is Marcel Dettmann performing a DJ set.
