French lucky boys burn the Santos’ house!

The last two weeks of Ete d’Amour are upon us! French electronic music label Ed Banger Records takes over Santos Party House with label head honcho Busy P and DJ Mehdi on Thursday, September 18th at downtown’s newest nightlife destination.

Founded in 2002, Ed Banger records rose to dramatic fame under the helm of influential Pedro Winters (formerly Daft Punk’s manager) with a number of artists exploding onto the nu-rave-electro-house-indie-disco-rock scene, most notably with French electronic group Justice and their remix of Simian’s “Never Be Alone.” The music video for the single, Justice vs. Simian - "We Are Your Friends" won the award for best video at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2006. The label is also home to burgeoning French sensations Sebastian, Uffie, Krazy Baldhead, DJ Mehdi, Mr Oizo, Mr Flash, Vicarious Bliss, So Me, Feadz, DSL, Mickey Moonlight, and Winter himself, under the alias Busy P.
