Amidst the frenzy of parties and celebrations at the Winter Music Conference this year, Pacha NYC has come out on top again, winning ‘Best Superclub' for the 2nd consecutive year at The 6th Annual Club World Awards, beating out tough competition from Hollywood, Vegas, Miami, and Toronto. Nominated in seven categories, Pacha NYC received a total of three of the coveted Disco Globe awards including, ‘Best Resident LJ' and ‘Best DJ Set' by Danny Tenaglia for his amazing DJ performance at the Vinyl Reunion party.
After the prestigious awards show, Eddie Dean co-owner of Pacha NYC exuded, "We're proud of our accomplishments to date and all year-round our staff strives for excellence at every turn. To be recognized by our fellow industry peers is truly an honor and this is something that will be shared by our management, staff, DJs, promoters and every single person who contributes to our ongoing success. In DJ Mag's latest issue, the revered clubbing bible ranks the Top 100 clubs in 2008 worldwide. The magazine approached the world's biggest DJs and asked them to vote for their top three venues in the world, namely the clubs that have left a lasting impression on them for the last 12 months. With Pacha Ibiza leading the charge at #7, Pacha New York came in at #24, the highest ranking U.S. nightclub in the survey.
