Made Event presents Dutch DJ sensation Sander Van Doorn and Sweden’s rising star John Dahlbäck at Pacha NYC on Friday, September 18, 2009.

From the start Sander Van Doorn (and his alter egos; Sam Sharp, Purple Haze, Filterfunk & Sandler) has produced a variety of sounds at a level that only most producers can dream of, combining elements of trance, electro, techno and house constantly blowing away his fans and comrades, while keeping us guessing about what’s will be next. His debut artist album Supernaturalistic was released in 2008 to rave reviews and launched a global album tour. He followed this by winning the coveted prize of ‘Best Breakthrough Artist’ at WMC’s IDMA, where he also received a nomination for ‘Best Underground Track’ with ‘Riff’.  He is one of the most in-demand genre crossing producers of his generation, regularly picking up support from DJ’s like Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Tiesto and Carl Cox .  Not content with taking the world by storm with his productions, Sander’s DJ skills are a force to be reckoned with. Every year sees Sander playing to over one million clubbers. He consistently headlines huge events from Sensation to Global Gathering, from Trance Energy and Mysteryland through to his high profile summer residency at Cream in Ibiza. With his accomplishments at such an early stage for, it’s easy to see where this man’s career is heading – No.1.

Swedish electro chief John Dahlbäck is still in his early twenties, but he’s had more releases than girlfriends with a singles discography edging ever closer to the hundred mark by the week. Even from an early age, John was learning the basics on his dad’s Atari computer and he soon established his own style, which blossomed into becoming one of the best young producers to date. Not soon after his initial success, he knew it was time to take the next step. Together with his cousin Jesper Dahlbäck, they produced under the moniker Hugg & Pepp to huge acclaim and launched their own Pickadoll imprint, boasting top releases from Özgur Can, Sebastien Leger, Dada Life, Zoo Brazil, Robbie Rivera, Laidback Luke and Style of Eye.

Made Event presents the Dutch sensation, Sander Van Doorn at Pacha NYC on Friday, May 8th, 2009.

In this day and age, being a Trance DJ from the Netherlands is not a unique thing, however, the level of talent and amount of chart topping records and sold out shows is unique to Sander Van Doorn. Entering the DJ Mag Top 100 at 32, then climbing to 15 within a year is no small feat, and is exciting to see what lies ahead for this young talent.  These days he’s embracing the future and sharing his knowledge capital with his “Sander Studio Sessions”. The 3rd video installment is out now featuring Sander showcasing techniques and tips.

From the studio, Sander’s joint production with mentor and friend Marco V, “What Say” has been slaying dancefloors worldwide and will get a proper full release in May. Also just released on Doorn Records is killer track ‘Ummet Ozcan – Timewave Zero’, now topping off at #1 spot in the Beatport trance charts. Sander also recently mixed “Spaceman” from The Killers recent massive album, Day & Age. Made Event presents the IDMA’s Best Breakthrough Artist Sander van Doorn on his debut artist album ‘Supernaturalistic’ tour at Pacha NYC on Friday, April 25th.

In just two short years, dance music’s hottest burgeoning talent, Sander van Doorn has debuted in DJ Mag’s prestigious Top 100 poll at #32 in 2006, then climbed to #15 in 2007. After a series of successful parties at the Winter Music Conference, Van Doorn triumphantly returns to the U.S. with his recently awarded title of ‘Best Breakthrough Artist’ from the International Dance Music Awards.

Now on the heels of the release of his debut artist album and first U.S. release ‘Supernaturalistic’, Sander continues to dominate with 12 new, original tracks on this well thought-out and flawlessly delivered assortment of music. The roots of Sander’s first excursion into artist album territory are both subtly and overtly embedded in trance, following his recent hot streak of dancefloor hits, “Riff,” “Grasshopper” and “By Any Demand.” For a special bonus track on the album, Sander Van Doorn gives London’s pop-songstress Sia a dancefloor makeover with his electrifying remix of “Sia: The Girl You Lost To Cocaine.”

After many years spending half his life producing and doing A&R for BXR Records at the Media Records studio complex in Brescia, Italy, and half DJing every weekend, Mauro Picotto decided in 2003 to dedicate his energy towards to his DJ career and his own Meganite branded events and parties. Now with Meganites in London, Miami, Turin, Glasgow, Montreal, and at Priviledge in Ibiza, Mauro frequently plays much of his own music designed specifically for the mood & energy of these nights. His sound now is a fusion of funky minimal house, with the techy edge and melodic elements that were always involved with his trademark sound. With renewed energy in 2007, Mauro sees the release of his new artist album ‘Now & Then’, on the brand new imprint SW Records and the Meganite Ibiza 2007 CD and DVD, following another successful season of the Meganite residency in Ibiza, now in its 4th year. This is a fresh and exciting new chapter in Mauro’s incredible career, and Now & Then is an excellent album marking a brilliant shift in musical direction.

In just four years, and coming out of nowhere Sander van Doorn’s rapid ascent continues with his latest #15 ranking in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll and the launch of his own label Doorn Records. With Sander on A&R duties, the ethos behind Doorn Records is simple – to discover new, unsigned talent and expose it to the world. To date the response has been tremendous with heaps of new tracks being submitted, be it via Myspace or the website.
