Made Event presents two of the world’s future leaders of trance, Gareth Emery and Glenn Morrison at Pacha NYC on Friday, April 16th, 2010. They are joined by one of NYC’s rising talents Zack Roth and London’s brightest upcoming progressive, tech-house producer Ad Brown.

Get familiar with Gareth Emery, the man who has been changing the face of electronic and trance music ever since he exploded onto the scene just a few short years ago. In limited time, he has already established himself amongst the class of DJ elite. 2009 was a banner year for Emery as he spent more time at the top of Beatport’s trance chart than any other artist, was nominated for the ‘Best Podcast’ for the third consecutive year at the IDMA’s, and cracked top 10 of the coveted DJ Mag Top 100 poll (reaching number 9).  His Gareth Emery Podcast is one of the most influential dance music podcasts in existence, having recently celebrated its fourth year running and 100th episode. In addition, Emery has recently launched his label, Garuda which is already responsible for numerous chart-topping releases and sold out club nights around the world. In between his hectic touring schedule which takes him to the world’s finest events and clubs, 2010 see’s Emery hard at work on his anticipated artist album as well as an exclusive promotional track for one of the world’s leading dance festivals, Global Gathering.

Glenn Morrisson is a DJ, remixer, label owner and one of those rare producers who’s deep passion for music can be felt permeating throughout his eclectic sound. He has released a slew of notable dance records through his acclaimed label Morrison Recordings, representing some of the most forward-thinking music in the industry.  The most recent releases off the label are his EPs Odyssey, Grafitti/You Plus Me Equals This and Drone, which have all received extensive plays from DJ heavyweights like John Digweed, Sasha, and Sander Kleinenberg.  Morrison continues to pack out clubs in more places across the world than ever before, including a quarterly residency with Perfecto in Las Vegas.  He has quickly gained a reputation for demolishing the dancefloors of elite venues around the world with his signature style of melodic trance and energetic house.  Whether it is playing exclusive private parties or huge stadium events, the name Glenn Morrison is synonymous with good times and good tunes.

Pacha NYC presents the New York stop of the renowned label’s Desolat Bus Tour featuring label heads Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich along with Romanian representatives Livio & Roby on Saturday, March 20th, 2010.

Every so often a DJ or producer comes along who inspires the collective imagination of the clubbing world. Loco Dice is someone who can piece together these intangible moods with a uniquely direct approach. Whether it is his DJ sets or productions on labels like M_nus, Cadenza, Ovum, Cocoon or his own Desolat, he manages to merge perspectives in a delicate sense of sound and atmosphere, underpinned with a solid, physical groove. His DJ sets are known to be spontaneous orchestrations fueled by the nuances of a crowd, location, or venue.  It is this innate understanding of people: what they sense, what they feel, what they want to imagine that distinguishes him from other DJs.

Martin Buttrich has been involved with such a large number of productions since his start, it would give even the most eager clubber a difficult time finding them all. Since the beginning, Buttrich has kept his head down and worked as a studio producer for over a decade, producing records with the likes of Timo Maas and Loco Dice.  His work with Loco Dice has appeared on labels like Ovum, M_nus and Cocoon.  His dark, twisted sound produces a fiercely isolated groove and has come to embody the dominant sound of dance floors which has made Martin Buttrich and Loco Dice productions the in demand sound across the world.  It is with this success that Desolat Music was born.  Buttrich has still found time to produce work under his own name, releasing records on Planet E, and Four:Twenty.  Buttrich is not only a studio wizard though. He can be seen playing his live set at all premier clubs around the world.

Livio & Roby are two of Romania’s most elite producers and DJs.  With a great understanding of dance music and exceptional production skills the duo have produced and remixed tracks appearing on labels like Cecille, Fumakilla, Junior Boy´s Own and Viva.  Their distinct sound ranges from the realms of deep house to classic techno. Holding residencies at several premier clubs in their homeland including Studio Martin and Kristal, as well as being major players at venues throughout the continent, Livio & Roby are poised to become the next great stars of dance music.  This was greatly influenced by Loco Dice when the famed DJ asked the duo to join the Desolat family in 2008, thus giving them a highly visible platform to grow and develop their sound for audiences around the globe.

My how time flies… and what an eventful 12 months it’s been since Toolroom Knights first rolled into the city, ready to launch their Pacha NYC residency last February.  Over the past year we’ve partied without pants, hit the dance floor with fake moustaches, celebrated the launch of Mark’s Toolroom Knights album, pulled out all the stops for his birthday bash, not to mention all the amazing talent brought in from far and wide and, of course, Mark’s marathon main-room sets.

The parties have been a real success, with Mark Knight bringing fresh, forward thinking music to the dance floor and injecting a much-needed dose of fun into Friday night New York City clubbing. Now it’s time to celebrate Toolroom Knights’ 1st anniversary with a 5 hour audio assault courtesy of the main man himself.   2009 was another stellar year for Mark.  He picked up a Grammy nomination for production work on the Black Eyed Peas’ multi-platinum album ‘The E.N.D’, stormed Beatport’s 2009 best seller list with 3 of the year’s most popular tracks; “Good Times”, “Music Matters”, “Flauta Magica”.  Recently he also picked up IDMA nominations for Best Global Radio Show for his weekly Toolroom Knights radio show and his Toolroom Records is in contention for Best Global Label.  All in all it’s been a big year for Mark Knight & Toolroom.  They continue to pioneer a sound and attitude that’s gained respect from fans and industry people alike, hungry for the integrity of the label’s production skills and the quality of their parties.
