This year we’ll be celebrating the momentous occasion with our original 2005 opening weekend lineup, resident DJ ERICK MORILLO along with very special guest, Mr. Swedish House Mafia himself, STEVE ANGELLO. Let’s hear it for 4 more years! 4 more years!

On this auspicious occasion, Pacha NYC president Eddie Dean says, “Music comes first and I think that as long as people keep following their ears, they will keep coming back to Pacha. We have exciting new DJs lined up for 2010 and we will keep bringing in the best for dance music lovers everywhere. A big thank you to all the DJs, promoters, agents, clubbers and staff that will see us through to the next decade of music excellence.”

Over the last 4 years, Pacha NYC has received many accolades including: International Dance Music Awards – Best U.S. Club and Club World Awards – Best Superclub 2009, 2008 & 2007, but the biggest commendation is the thousands of clubbers each weekend who congregate on the dancefloor in search of the perfect beat. In the last year, the launch of Pacha NYC Podcasts and Pacha NYC TV kept us connected with our DJs and our fans and we were pleased to announce new DJ residencies for Danny Tenaglia, Chus & Ceballos, and Benny Benassi, all joining our well-respected roster of residents Erick Morillo, Victor Calderone, Jonathan Peters and Boris. Now more than ever, Pacha NYC is poised to enter the next decade with the world’s most sought-after DJs and continued decadence in nightlife for the dance music loving masses.

Pacha will also be holding their annual Toys For Tots drive. Guests who donate an unwrapped toy will receive FREE ADMISSION BEFORE 12 MIDNIGHT! The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. Any and all toy donations are appreciated.

Since August 2009, Pacha NYC has released 17 podcasts with Pacha’s top DJs including resident masters such as DJ Boris, Jonathan Peters, Chus & Ceballos, and Mark Knight, as well as one-time exclusive sets from the world’s top electronic artists. This Independence Day weekend, Pacha NYC celebrates a weekend full of its newest DJ residencies for Danny Tenaglia and Chus & Ceballos, plus the return of Subliminal Records head honcho and original Pacha resident Erick Morillo, on a quick jaunt back from the mothership Pacha Ibiza. The legendary Tenaglia will ignite the dancefloor fireworks on Thursday, July 2nd with Erick Morillo carrying the torch on Friday, July 3rd, then Madrid’s Chus & Ceballos to close-out the mega weekend with a bang on Saturday July 4th.

Pacha NYC is also proud to announce the addition of Italian electro-house maestro Benny Benassi, set to deliver satisfaction to his adoring NYC crowds beginning January 2010 as its newest resident DJ.  Benassi now joins the elite roster of Pacha NYC resident DJs including; Benny Benassi, Boris, Chus & Ceballos, Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Jonathan Peters and Victor Calderone.

Danny Tenaglia ignites his new monthly residency at Pacha NYC on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009.  After the end of his beloved “Be Yourself” residency at Vinyl/Arc (RIP 2004), Danny clearly waited for the right time, right place to launch another historical DJ residency at Pacha NYC, the last big-room standing with unparallel sound. It’s no easy task to be labeled as “The DJ’s DJ,” but then again Danny Tenaglia is no ordinary DJ. At the pinnacle of his long-standing career, Danny is a DJ highly respected by his peers; both locally and internationally, and a performer with the uncanny ability to connect to the crowd like no other. Madrid-based DJ/producers Chus & Ceballos launch their brand new DJ residency at Pacha NYC starting Saturday, July 4th, 2009. The duo are behind the globally renown Stereo Productions label and the iconic “Iberican Sound”; rhythmic, percussive electronic house with a touch of soul storming from the Iberican peninsula. They have been driving the musical motorship on the house front captivating dancefloors throughout the world via massive and lively list of remixes such as Luzon “The Baguio Track”, Deep Dish “Say Hello” and Madonna’s “Hung Up” have gained them tremendous reputation in the music industry. 2007 marks the 10th anniversary of the now world renowned, cutting edge label – Subliminal Records and this Thanksgiving Eve, November 21st, Erick Morillo returns to New York City for a very special Subliminal Sessions party at his home club, Pacha NYC. To celebrate Erick has invited special guests along, who will be performing some of Subliminal’s biggest tracks to highlight the last ten fantastic years.

Erick shares his excitement, “It’s going to be awesome; I hope you’re all as excited as I am. I can’t wait to get all the Subliminal family back for our own Thanksgiving celebration, as we all know the holidays are all about spending time with family.”

Abigail Bailey will be performing “I Just Can’t Get Enough” the track she wrote with Herd & Fitz in 2005 and which reached #11 in the UK Top 20. It went on to become an across the board radio smash and still gets rocked out at parties across the globe. Abby always brings the house down at the Subliminal parties and has an unbelievable performance in the Subliminal Arena as this year’s Creamfields UK. It will be a show stopping Pacha NYC debut.

Gadjo’s “So Many Times” was the track that defined the WMC in 2004 and was one of that summer’s biggest anthems. It still sounds just as fresh nearly four years on and Alexandra Prinz is jetting over from Germany for a special live performance.

From the latest installment in the Subliminal Records compilation series, Subliminal Sessions 11 mixed by label head, Erick Morillo himself, the track that garnered the most attention is Lee Kalt’s ‘Special K’ featuring Missus M. Missus M will be performing a live performance of this hit 2007 tune and Lee Kalt will be DJ’ing in the Pacha basement.

ABOUT ERICK MORILLO
Erick Morillo is a platinum selling artist and has topped the charts worldwide as the producer behind Reel 2 Reel’s hit “I Like To Move It”. As a high profile DJ, Erick is currently one of the most in-demand and instantly recognizable DJs in the world with him most recently being invited to play at the Concert for Diana afterparty at Wembley for Prince William and Prince Harry. With his residency success at Pacha Ibiza, Erick was chosen to open the prestigious Pacha, New York in December 2005 and hosts a Subliminal Sessions residency. He has remixed everyone from Whitney Houston to Basement Jaxx, from the Sneaker Pimps to Macy Gray and has collaborated with the likes of Puff Daddy, Boy George and the Audio Bullys. He currently runs the legendary Subliminal Records empire in his home state of NJ.

The end of the year will see Erick tour Colombia and Brazil, play dates across the USA, and to Dubai in the Middle East. He will close out New Year’s Eve 2007 in two different countries; with gigs at Sensation in Dussledorf followed by Outland in Rotterdam.
